Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior urged parents and guardians to put in place measures to prevent swimming pool accidents.
In a social media post, the Ministry stated that one of child safety requirements include not running in or around the pool area.
It also noted that poolside flooring should be slip resistant, adding that children should be placed under close supervision at all times.
It further urged swimmers to dry their feet before walking outside the pool area.
