DOHA: The State Cabinet yesterday endorsed a decision of the Minister of Economy and Commerce to introduce price controls for a number of food and non-food items during the fasting month of Ramadan, which will begin by the middle of next month, reports Qatar News Agency (QNA).
The list of items is expected to be issued by the Economy Ministry 10 to 15 days before the holy month begins.
Last year, 400 items were on the list of controlled prices for the fasting month.
