Doha: Weather inshore tonight until 06:00 a.m. on Tuesday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered to heavy rain, thundery at times and cloudy with chance of scattered thundery rain by evening offshore.
In its report, department of meteorology warning today that thundery rain at times associated with sudden strong wind and thunderstorm associated with strong wind and high seas offshore.
Wind inshore will be southeasterly southerly at a speed of 05 to 15 knot reaches 18 knot at places at first, 25 knot during thundery rain, while offshore southwesterly to southeasterly at a speed of 08-15 knot increasing to 20-25 knot with thundery rain at times.
Visibility will be 3-8 kilometer decreases to 2 kilometer or less during thundery rain. Sea state inshore will be 1-2 feet reaches 3 feet at times, while offshore it will be 2-4/5 feet rising to 7 feet with any thundery at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its report.
