The public parks at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment launched a project “Plant Qatar" for the year 2017/2018.
The project aims to plant a number of seasonal vegetables and flowers. The initiative was launched in collaboration with Al Faisal Foundation Without Borders for Charity Works in association with 25 independent schools and 5 international schools. Teams comprising of ten students from each school have been formed to carry out the project, and agricultural engineers from public parks department will follow up the project.
