Doha, Qatar: Minister of Municipality H E Eng. Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah participated in the Berlin Conference of Agriculture Ministers ‘Global Forum for Food and Agriculture’ (GFFA).
The conference entitled “Food Systems for Our Future: Joining Forces for a Zero Hunger World” and the leading World Green Week trade exhibition in the field of food and agriculture industry, in the German capital, Berlin, held from January 18 to 20.
The forum, organised by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany, with the participation of Ministers of Agriculture from 70 countries, discussed the role of trade in securing sufficient food for the world’s population, the importance of transparency in the food supply chain, and the impact of free trade on agriculture and rural development in their countries.
The (Green Week) exhibition is considered the largest internationally specialised in agriculture and food, and the various nutritional and animal products, and the induction of fruitful trees, animal education, and the embrace of the animal, and the modernity of the technology of the smart. This is in addition to the organisation of many seminars and conferences enhance cooperation in food security sector.
