London: Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution H E Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani met separately on Thursday with British Minister of State for Middle East and North Africa H E James Cleverly; the UK Chair of the Joint Intelligence Committee and Prime Minister’s Special Representative for the Afghan Transition H E Sir Simon Gass; the UK Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan H E Nigel Casey; the UK Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa and Red Sea H E Philip Parham; and Director of the National Security at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office H E Chris Rampling.
During the meetings, they reviewed bilateral cooperation and relations between the two countries, regional and international developments, and efforts to combat terrorism, in addition to the latest developments in the Afghan issue and issues of common interest.
