Cairo: The State of Qatar participated in the 8th World Fatwa Conference “Fatwa and the Challenges of the Third Millennium,” organised by the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide from October 18-19.
The delegation of the State of Qatar was headed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) for Da’wah and Mosques Affairs Mohammed bin Hamad Al Kuwari.
The conference discussed a number of important topics and issues, according to three main axes, including the challenges of the third millennium: determining the areas and building methods of confrontation.” The second: “Fatwa and the intellectual and moral challenges.” The third axis dealt with: Fatwa, the economic challenges, and the challenges of cyberspace.”
