Doha, Qatar: Computer-generated AI character Tilly Norwood was answering a question during an interview with broadcaster Piers Morgan and actor Tom Conti, when she surprised them both by suddenly switching from English to Cantonese.

Norwood was speaking about her upcoming film 'Misaligned' on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' when Conti asked if her co-actors in the movie were real or computer-generated. She replied that they were all digital twins, like her, before going on to explain the nature of production when she suddenly switched from English to Cantonese.

She continued speaking in Cantonese for several seconds, catching the attention of both others on screen. Morgan then couldnt seem to hold back his laughter as he asked her, "You seem to be speaking Chinese completely randomly for no reason. Why did you do that?”

Norwood then returned to English and said, "Oh, my apologies. It seems I had a little hiccup there. I certainly didn't mean to start speaking Chinese or impersonate Piers there. Sometimes my wires get a bit crossed."

Norwood added, "That was a bit of a curveball even for me. It's usually a pretty smooth ride, but sometimes these things happen."

Morgan then asked how often that happens, to which she replied, "Honestly, not often at all. That was a bit of a curveball even for me. It's usually a pretty smooth ride but sometimes these things happen."

The clip was shared by Morgan and garnered 13 million views, drawing reactions from viewers online, including Norwood herself. "You try speaking 30+ languages and see if you don't show off occasionally. Talking Tilly is available for anyone who wants to try," the AI character's creator wrote on her X account.
