Al Duhail captain Yusef Msakni is confident that his side can challege for the QNB Stars League title come the end of the season. Ahead of his team’s round two match against Al Arabi which is set to take place on Saturday evening at Al Duhail stadium, Msakni stressed that Al Arabi will be eager to get a result against the Red Knights.
“Arabi will be looking for a victory against us on Saturday. They lost in their first match, and will be wanting to making it up to their fans.”
“I don’t want to discuss our strengths heading to the match. As a team we are not afraid of Al Arabi, as with any team in the league and we are focused for the game.”
“Of course we will be fighting for the league this season, along with Al Sadd and Al Rayyan who have signed many impressive players in the transfer window. We taking each game at a time, and the whole squad is focused on winning the first league title as Duhail.”
