Washington, USA: Google is preparing for the back-to-school season by launching a dedicated study hub for students within its Gemini AI assistant, bringing together a range of educational tools in one place to help students research, study, and prepare for exams.
The new hub allows users to create a dedicated study notebook for collecting research and information, in addition to creating flashcards and taking practice tests, while study notebooks are being enhanced to support charts and images.
Gemini can analyze a course syllabus and add exam dates and final assignments to Google Calendar, helping students organize their study schedules and keep track of important dates. Google has also expanded Deep Research capabilities to Gemini Live, allowing students to request advanced research reports on complex topics and then discuss the results with Gemini through voice interactions.
The feature is not limited to providing answers. Gemini can also help students identify mistakes they have made and provide guidance to improve their problem-solving approach.
