Brussels: European stock indices closed mixed at the end of trading today.
The European Stoxx 600 index ended trading virtually unchanged. The French CAC 40 index fell by 0.57 percent, and the German DAX index declined by about 0.42 percent.
In contrast, Britain's FTSE 100 index ended trading relatively unchanged, up 0.04 percent, while Italy's MIB index rose by about 0.09 percent.
