Doha, Qatar: In continuation of its efforts to reinforce the financial technology sector (FinTech), Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has issued its first license of this kind in the country to Ammen, to provide insurance price comparison website services.
This makes Ammen the first company to be authorised to run an insurance price comparison website in Qatar.
This authorisation brings the total number of companies under the supervision and control of QCB in the financial technology sector to 16.
