Doha: Reformed and United Guardians Brotherhood International Inc. Legion Qatar (RLQ) organised a traffic awareness and Iftar campaign at Ramada Signal during Ramadan.
Al Jaber Opticians was the main sponsor of the event, supported members of RLQ group, Family Food Centre, iLove Qatar, Qatar Living Volunteers, Pinoy Ads Qatar and the Philippine embassy.
It was fifth year for the company and fourth year for the organisation to hold the event.
The company provided food and drinks and opened its hall for over 170 volunteers to prepare and distribute Iftar packets.
Within 20 minutes, about 2,500 food packs were distributed at Ramada Signal and 500 in the Industrial Area.
