The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), in association with the Thani Bin Thani Foundation (RAF), gave away food packets to more than 2,000 workers of different nationalities at their Iftar gathering on street 2 of the Industrial Area yesterday. The whole event was led by Hani Al Thamimi, Director of Community Services, RAF. ICC Acting President Girish Kumar, Advisory Council Chairman K M Varghese, ICC General Secretary Seenu Pillai, Head of Affiliations Aboo Kaattil, Head of Membership Sam Kuruvilla and ICC staff co-ordinated the distribution of packets. The ICC is holding the Iftar for low-income workers for the first time.
