Makkah: The Qatari Haj Mission and its administrative and technical support units continue their efforts to create appropriate conditions, harness all capabilities for the pilgrims of Qatar, equip camps with all facilities in the holy sites, and provide integrated services to pilgrims of the highest standards and specifications to enable them to perform Haj smoothly and easily.
In a statement, Deputy Head of the Qatari Haj Mission Ali bin Sultan Al Misifri said that periodic meetings would be held with members of the advisory committee and the heads of the administrative and technical units supporting the mission to discuss preparations and the remaining works as well as the mechanism for their elaborate and rapid implementation.
He added that all support units continue their entrusted work through specific plans and programmes that are continuously updated according to the need and the current circumstances, pointing to the mobilisation of all efforts to provide the best services to the country’s pilgrims in order to make the Haj season for the year 1444 AH a success and work to provide the best conditions that enable the pilgrims to perform their rituals easily.
In a related context, the Mashaer and logistics unit is preparing camps in the holy sites at Mina and Arafat for all Qatari campaigns and providing all services and facilities for pilgrims of Qatar.
Head of the Mashaer and logistics unit Hammad Al Muhanadi said that all members of the unit are continuously following up on the works of the company with which the mission contracted to prepare the tents and that all workers are exerting their maximum efforts to finish preparations during the upcoming days before the day of Tarwiyah.
Al Muhanadi stressed that the unit is following up on all the equipment of the camps in the holy sites, which are of the highest standards, and in implementation of the plan prepared for equipping the camps.
He indicated that the camps have well-equipped, furnished, and air-conditioned living rooms and contain a multi-use chair for each pilgrim, which the pilgrim can use as a bed or as a seat.
