Doha: Municipality officials seized around 5,300 kilograms of food unfit for consumption in two unlicensed warehouses in Al Wukair area, the Ministry of Municipality announced on its Twitter account.
Inspectors of the Health Control Department in Al Wakrah Municipality seized the spoiled food (meat, poultry, soft drinks and vegetables) and was destroyed, and the necessary legal measures were taken.
A violation report was immediately issued, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 8 of 1990 on the organisation of food control.
