Doha: Vodafone Qatar joined the local community in celebration of Garangao, Ramadan’s highly anticipated tradition by children. Touring on an electric bus and in partnership with Tarsheed, Vodafone stopped by Msheireb, Katara and QF and distributed candy to children and their families.
The partnership with Tarsheed came in-line with its recently launched Ramadan brand campaign ‘Yes, We Can Renew and Rebuild’. Vodafone used the electric bus to promote sustainability amongst the local community and engage children at a young age to educate them and raise awareness about sustainable ways to save the planet.
The annual traditional celebration was put on-hold for almost two years due to the pandemic. But with the ease of restrictions this year, Vodafone was up front and close to the community, bringing happiness in person to children around Qatar.
Vodafone’s latest brand campaign aims to drive positive action throughout the country during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative is very much in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 of promoting green-living and sustainability.
