As many as 11 Independent and private schools participated in the drawing competition and exhibition organised by Doha Municipality as part of celebrations of GCC Food Day, to raise health awareness among children.
The Health Monitoring Section of the Municipality organised a tour of participating students to the educational exhibition where they received information on food safety and also received gifts. The number of participating students was 178.
Meanwhile, the public cleaning department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment organised awareness workshops on recycling wastes for Unesco schools. The workshops include awareness lectures about cleaning, recycling and its history in Qatar.
