Bangladesh MHM School & College celebrated the Bangla New year at its premises recently. The Ambassador of Bangladesh Syed Masud Mahmood Khundoker, who is also the chairman of the institution, attended the event.
A high profiled delegation from Bangladesh government was also present during the programme. The guests included Topon Chandra Banik, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Establishment, Ruhul Alam Siddique, Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Azim Uddin Biswas, Director, Prime Minister’s Secretariat. Principal Md Jashim Uddin welcomed the guests. The Ambassor talked about the significance of Pohela Boishakh (1st day of Banla new year) in his speech and urged all students to keep up the spirit of national festival. The Joint Secretary Topon Chandra Banik praised the organisers for arranging such a programme in a school far away from home.
