President Benigno Aquino III has appointed former Cavite Governor Erineo S. Maliksi as member of the Board of Direcors of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and nominated him as Chairman of the Board.
Citing a report from the Office of the Executive Secretary, Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. said the President signed Maliksi’s appointment papers on April 17, 2015.
Maliksi was three-term Cavite Governor after he served from 2001-2010, was a member of the House of Representative twice from 1998 to 2001 and from 2010-13, and mayor of Imus, Cavite from 1988-98.
He replaced former PCSO Chairperson Margie Juico, who resigned from her post in May 2014.
