Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour, represented by the Department of Qualifying Skills and Development, in collaboration with the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants (QCPA), has hosted a specialised training course titled “Financial Accounting According to International Standards.”

Targeted at Qatari job seekers and children of Qatari women with backgrounds in administration, economics, and financial accounting, the course equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills required by today’s labour market.

This initiative reflects the Ministry’s commitment to developing a skilled and competitive national workforce, in line with the country’s job nationalisation plan and the National Strategy for an Effective and Highly Productive Workforce (2024–2030).

By focusing on the latest technological, digital, and economic trends, the course ensures that participants are well-prepared for the evolving needs of the private sector.

Through a series of continuous programmes, workshops, and partnerships conducted throughout the year, the Ministry of Labour is dedicated to advancing human capital development.

These efforts strengthen Qatar’s position as a global hub of innovation and knowledge, aligning with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
