Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency added the visit, due on Wednesday, sets sights on better economic, trade and investment relations and brings to the fore regional and international issues of shared concern.

Al Sharif also spotlighted the many Iranian firms operating in the Qatari markets, and the 16 weekly flights between the two countries.
The Ambassador referred to Doha’s hosting of the 10th Joint Economic Cooperation Commission in December 2024, which addressed multi-sector cooperation avenues and culminated in both sides approving measures to cement trade, investment and industrial cooperation - to push ahead the trade exchange volume and streamline the flow of goods, services and investments.
Concluding his remarks to QNA, Al Sharif hailed the visit as a key platform for fresh cooperation avenues across various areas, serving the interests of the two peoples and beefing up prosperity and development for both countries.
