Islamabad: At least seven people of the same family were killed while nine others injured when lightning struck a double-storey house at Khushab’s Purana Chowk on Saturday.
According to details, the roof collapsed after lightning hit the house, entrapping the residents under the rubble. Sources told Dunya news agency that as many as seven people including four women and two children died in the mishap whereas nine others sustained severe wounds and were shifted to hospital for medication.
