Charsadda, Pakistan: At least five people have been killed in an ongoing gun and bomb attack on a university in northwestern Pakistan, a rescue official told AFP Wednesday.

"There are five dead bodies in front of me," said emergency official Bilal Faizi, speaking from the Bacha Khan university in Charsadda.

"All of them have bullet wounds."

He did not clarify if the dead included any of the gunmen.
