Ankara: Turkish security forces have arrested 21 persons belonging to Islamic State group, including two Turks, in Kelis on the border with Syria.
According to the Turkish Anadolu Agency (AA), the arrest was carried out on Wednesday night in Elbeyli when the detainees crossed into the Turkish territory surreptitiously from Syria.
The security authorities handed over the 19 foreign detainees to the Turkish migration department in order to hand them over to their countries, while referred the Turkish detainees to the Turkish judiciary for trial.
The Turkish security forces arrested over the past two days other 21 people belonging to IS and killed one of the members.
