Chengdu: Five people are missing after a mudslide hit southwest China's Sichuan Province early Saturday, local authorities said.
The mudslide occurred near Shijiagou Tunnel in Yanbian County, Panzhihua City. The provincial emergency management department has dispatched a working team to the scene to guide rescue efforts.
Relief operations are underway.
