Kuwait: The State of Qatar participated in the 27th meeting of Their Excellencies the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Justice in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held Thursday in the State of Kuwait.
The Qatari delegation to the meeting was headed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice H E Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi.
The meeting discussed several topics related to strengthening judicial, legal, and legislative cooperation among the GCC Ministries of Justice, including the draft unified rules for combating discrimination, hate speech, and contempt of religions and religious beliefs in the GCC, the draft unified rules for combating cybercrimes in the GCC countries, and the draft unified rules for combating human trafficking.
The meeting also addressed a report on the Meetings for Committee of Heads of International Cooperation and International Relations Departments in GCC Ministries of Justice for the year 2025, along with a number of items, in preparation for submitting appropriate recommendations to the meeting of Their Excellencies the Ministers of Justice.
