Doha, Qatar: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received on Wednesday the Chairman of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Dr Khalil Al-Hayya, and a number of the movement's leaders.
During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs commended the movement's decision to accept the roadmap for completing the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, expressing his hope that this would contribute to ending the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Strip and fulfilling their aspirations for security and stability.
His Excellency also stressed the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities and pressure Israel to fulfill its obligations under the agreement and cease its ongoing violations of the rights of the Palestinian people, thus ensuring the completion of the roadmap and achieving peace and stability in the Gaza Strip.
