Doha, Qatar: The Jordanian Armed Forces said air defense systems intercepted and downed three Iranian missiles out of four that targeted the Kingdom's territory, while the fourth missile crashed in a remote area south of the Kingdom far from populated areas.
A military source at the General Command stated that the incident resulted in no casualties or material damage, adding that Royal Engineering Corps teams immediately secured the impact site and began handling the missile in accordance with established technical and security procedures.
The source affirmed that the Jordan Armed Forces will continue to monitor the Kingdom's airspace with the highest level of readiness and will respond firmly to any threat targeting Jordan's security and the safety of its citizens.
