Doha: Qatar Customs at Hamad International Airport foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotic substances into Qatar.
The illegal substances were discovered hidden under a package of meat. The seized narcotic substances were in the form of capsules, including shabo weighing 242 grams, heroin weighing 647 grams, and cocaine weighing 1,090 grams.
The Customs Department has been warning against bringing illegal goods into the country. They are equipped with all means of support including the latest devices and continuous training to read the body language of passengers and to be aware of the latest methods followed by smugglers.
