AZF delegation with patients at Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre.
A delegation from Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has recently conducted a community visit to meet patients at the Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre in partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). This represents the last stop on AZF’s Ramadan community visits agenda, which reaches out to social institutions and health providers during the holy month.
Abdullah Al Hajri, Public Relations Manager at HMC, welcomed the AZF delegation and took them on a tour around the hospital’s various departments to brief them on what the hospital offers to kidney patients and to meet the patients themselves.
Commenting on the visit, Hussain Al Qahtani, Media and Communication Manager of AZF, said: “This visit reflects AZF’s values and emphasises our commitment to social responsibility. We aim to support all members of the community in keeping active given the clear health benefits physical activity offers, and we are especially grateful to be able to support those in need this holy month.”
Abdullah Al Hajri, Public Relations Manager at HMC, added: “I’d like to thank AZF for lifting the patients’ spirits with this visit. HMC is keen to support its joint initiatives with AZF, which alleviate patients’ mental, physical and emotional pain and improve their overall wellbeing every year.”
This was the last of AZF’s scheduled Ramadan community visits for this year. It follows AZF delegation visits to Ehsan, the Centre for Empowerment and Elderly Care, Rumailah and the National Centre for Cancer Care & Research (Al Amal Hospital).
