DOHA: The Supreme Education Council’s (SEC) e-Services will be available for citizens and expatriates at five government services complexes from Sunday.
These will be offered at centres in Al Wakra, Mesaimeer, Umm Salal, Al Daain and Al Shahaniya to provide faster services and solve problems people face, Al Sharq reports.
Services include registration of students, their transfer from private schools to Independent schools and within Independent schools, clearance certificates for students, information about seats in Independent schools, and changing the education stream, among others. These services are provided by SEC’s Education Institute.
The Evaluation Institute at SEC will provide secondary school results and issue school and graduation certificates.
The Higher Education Institute will offer services related to licensing of private education centres and scholarship services.
The centres will also receive applications for land to set up private schools and public complaints related to the education sector.
