Doha, Qatar: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index started yesterday's trading with an increase of approximately 0.13 percent, adding 13.69 points to reach 10,695 points compared to the end of Wednesday’s trading.
This gain was supported by five sectors. Figures released by QSE indicated an improvement in the performance of the insurance sector by 1.70 percent, the real estate sector by 1.04 percent, the bank and financial services sector by 0.35 percent, the transportation sector by 0.21 percent and the industrial sector by 0.19 percent. On the other hand, the performance was negative for the goods and consumer services sector by 0.23 percent and the telecommunications sector by 0.53 percent.
