Doha: Wyndham Grand Regency Doha hotel has announced the appointment of its new General Manager (GM), Antony Raj Thomas (pictured), after the property’s ownership transition dated 2017.
Thomas, having been affiliated with the group of conglomerates owned by the same hotel owner, Mohd Mubarak S A Al Kaabi, is managing the latter’s real estate investment with activities including but not limited to property development, property lease, facility management and buy and sell of multi-million properties for the past 20 years.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts made the announcement in April 2022 formalising the joining of Thomas as he officially takes the lead in Wyndham Hotels & Resorts flagship hotel in the Middle East under the Wyndham Grand brand collection.
Thomas, who has joined the world’s largest hotel franchising company by number of properties and 22 brands across over 95 countries, will oversee the hotel operations in continuously providing exceptional hospitality for all guests and clientele.
The Wyndham Grand Regency Doha hotel boasts 246 rooms and suites which feature a harmonious blend of traditional architecture and spectacular contemporary design alongside all the comforts and amenities expected from a five-star hotel.
