Dr Atta asks PM to order probe into Axact scandal

ISLAMABAD: Former Chairman High Education Commission (HEC), Dr Atta-ur-Rehman has said that Axact scandal has brought bad name for Pakistan, therefore, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should order investigation into the matter.

Talking to Geo News on Tuesday, Dr Atta-ur-Rehman said, “The Prime can issue orders National Accountability Bureau to investigate into the scandal.” “We have to bring this investigation to logical end so as to satisfy the world,” he added.

He also urged Axact employees to come forward feeling it their moral responsibility.

Dr Atta went on to say that this scandal is a big blow for IT business in Pakistan. He further said verification of degrees in America does not need sign of Secretary of State.
