Doha: The 25th Season of PIBAQ kicked off on Friday at Al Gharafa Training Gym with 3 Stars and A Sun beginning their campaign on a winning note.
3 Stars and A Sun, founded in 2012 and which joined PIBAQ two years later, subdued new comers team GI Joe 99-87 and also won the award for the Best Uniform in Rising Division.
The victory was made possible thanks due to the team efforts with shooting of veteran Paul David, the consistent and inside game of high flying Edgardo SY, the leadership of veteran Crisller Icaro and Bryan Maderazo aka
Terrence Romeo who showcased his dazzling moves in the game to mesmerize the opponents and fashion an emphatic win.
The team comprising of ex PBA hoopsters was formed by dedicated basketball fans based in Qatar to show their love and passion for the game.
