ICC to host Indian Community Fair

The Indian Cultural Center (ICC) will hold the first ever “Indian Community Fair” at the Old Ideal Indian School on November 29 and 30. The Fair will be open from 4pm to 10pm. 
There will be 40 stalls and four food stalls in the community fair. Various affiliated organisations of the ICC have booked stalls to display and sell items like handicrafts, clothes, jewellery depicting Indian culture. There will be four food stalls by licensed vendors in Doha, selling various Indian delicacies. 
Organisations affiliated to ICC and from different states of India will also contribute to the fun filled evening with cultural programs and dances. Colorful processions will be held on the second day, displaying various art forms of various states of India along with Panchavadiyam, a traditional percussion instrumental fusion.
Lucky prizes will be drawn on an hourly basis and attractive prizes given away at the venue.
One of the highlights of event is that the Indian schools will be participating in the fair for their ongoing Environmental programme and competition called Project 5S (School Students Struggle for Sustainability and to Save Environment) conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India) Qatar Chapter.The Peninsula
 
NBK picks winners
of ‘AMG Experience’
 
NBK Automobiles, the dealers of Mercedes-Benz in Qatar, announced the winners of the AMG Experience following the launch of the latest SL at Katara in October.
Nino Dado, Hassan Othman, Dalia Diab, Hilde Vika and Matthias Winter who attended the event won an all-expenses paid AMG Driving Experience at the Yas Island Circuit in Abu Dhabi, including business class accommodation and flights.
