Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality announced the issuance of 2,226 building permits during the third quarter of 2026, according to statistics shared in a social media post detailing the performance of building permit system in the country.
The figures include 1,631 permits for small projects, 94 for major projects, and 501 for other projects, excluding those classified as minor and major.
The ministry also reported issuing 1,947 licences and certificates during the quarter. These included 957 building completion certificates, 407 property completion certificates, 376 maintenance permits, and 207 demolition permits.
The statistics also outlined the number of approved plans, recording 31,067 building completion certificates, 3,722 maintenance permits, 1,745 demolition permits, and 204 property completion certificates.
The figures provide an overview of building permit activity, construction-related approvals, and municipal services in Qatar during the third quarter of 2026.
