Doha: The Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) and Qatar Post announced yesterday the issuance of a special postage stamp for World Humanitarian Day.
This initiative stems from their firm belief in the importance of humanitarian work and the need to encourage it. Moreover, this move is in support of the campaign accompanying World Humanitarian Day, taking place tomorrow (Friday).
This initiative comes within the framework of the cooperation of the RACA and Qatar Post in highlighting the leading role of the State of Qatar in humanitarian and charity work, making it one of the most supportive countries for humanitarian efforts in the world. In addition, this special postage stamp is meant to serve as a reminder of the hard work and indispensable contribution of persons working in the humanitarian and charitable fields.
In this regard, the Director of Public Relations and Communication at RACA Maliha Al Shafee said that Qatar Post’s cooperation with RACA in issuing this special postage stamp edition indicates the appreciation of the various sectors of Qatari society for humanitarian and charitable work and its workers.
