DOHA: There is no respite in sight from the scorching heat, with the Qatar Meteorology Department forecasting a very hot day with strong wind over all areas today.
Motorists will need to be cautious as visibility is expected to be poor because of dusty wind, added the department.
“Strong wind over all areas and low horizontal visibility is expected (on Saturday),” said the department.
Temperature is expected between 31 and 45 degree Celsius.
Doha, Al Wakra and Mesaieed are expected to be among the hottest areas with maximum temperature around 45 degrees. However, Ruwais and Dukhan will may witness maximum temperature between 35 and 38 degrees, respectively.
Humidity is likely to increase from tomorrow. “Starting from Sunday wind speed will decrease which will be northwesterly- northeasterly light to moderate in speed.
“The wave height will be slight to moderate and the weather is going to be relatively humid by night during this period,” the department added.
