Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday received well-wishers at Al Wajba Palace on the advent of Eid Al Fitr.
They included Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, sheikhs, ministers, Advisory Council speaker and his deputy, undersecretaries, council members and citizens.
The Emir also received heads of diplomatic missions, army and police officers and heads of national institutions and departments.
Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir’s Personal Representative H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and sons of Father Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani were present.
In the afternoon, the Emir received more well-wishers, including sheikhs and citizens, in the presence of the Deputy Emir.
Meanwhile, the Emir exchanged greetings on the telephone with presidents Mahmoud Abbas (Palestine), Recep Tayyip Erdogan (Turkey), Mamnoon Hussain (Pakistan), former Lebanese prime minister Saad Hariri and Hamas Political Bureau Head Khaled Meshaal. QNA
