DOHA: A criminal court has fined an Asian national QR10,000 for reckless driving who ran over her car on a four-year Pakistani child, who later died due to critical injuries received during the accident, local Arabic daily Al Raya reported today.
The same court has also ordered to pay a blood money of QR200,000 to the child’s parents. The motorist will also have to contribute to pay the blood money along with the concerned car insurer.
The accident had happened in Bin Omran area, where the child’s parents lived. After the accident the child was immediately taken to the emergency ward of a hospital where the child succumbed to the critical injuries.
