Doha, Qatar: Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, continues to implement its sustainable awareness programme, “Your Health, Your Success”, launched in 2017 to promote health awareness among school students and encourage positive health behaviours within the school community.
During the 2025–2026 academic year, the programme reached more than 3,100 students across 124 public and private schools through a series of interactive workshops and educational activities designed to engage students of different ages and simplify key health concepts.
In recognition of its contributions to community initiatives and health education, QCS was honoured as a National Partner by the Department of Private Schools and Kindergartens at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education during the closing ceremony of the “My Values Shape My Identity” project for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Commenting on the programme, Head of Health Awareness at QCS, Heba Nassar said that the initiative reflects the Society’s commitment to educating students about healthy lifestyles, reducing harmful health behaviours, and increasing awareness of cancer-related issues, including risk factors, prevention methods, and the importance of early detection.
