Doha: Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen H E Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al Alimi and his accompanying delegation visited yesterday the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ).
This comes during their current visit to the country where His Excellency toured the galleries of the museum, and viewed its artefacts.
Various galleries were visited, which include the beginnings of the geological development of the Qatar Peninsula, its natural environments, the monuments and rock inscriptions in archaeological sites, the life of the people of Qatar on land and coasts, and the digital exhibition.
He was also briefed on the most important pieces and collectibles related to pearls and jewelry design, in addition to the galleries of modern Qatar history since the discovery of oil and gas.
