Doha: The Centre for Geographic Information Systems (CGIS), Qatar under the Ministry of Municipality in collaboration with Mannai Trading Co WLL and Esri Inc will mark the annual GIS Technology Day on May 19 at Sheraton Grand Doha.
The event will witness the presence of GIS professionals from the GIS community in Qatar from public sector organisations and universities.
GIS is a scientific framework for gathering, analysing, and visualising geographic data to help people make better decisions. The occasion aspires to help the community understand and share, how advancement in geospatial science in real world applications are making an impact in various industry and technology domains.
