Pliskova to play Konta in Italian Open final

Rome: Former world number one Karolina Pliskova beat Greece's Maria Sakkari 6-4, 6-4 to reach the Italian Open final on Saturday.

The fourth-seeded Czech next plays Britain's Johanna Konta who earlier beat the Netherlands' Kiki Bertens 5-7, 7-5, 6-2.
