DOHA: Vodafone yesterday launched the Vodafone Smart first 6, the most affordable Android 4 smartphone, to celebrate World Telecom Day yesterday.
Offered at a special price of QR229, Smart first 6 will be available at all Vodafone retail stores and eShop via www.vodafone.qa/go/smartfirst6
Smart first 6 is a handset with a full Android experience that will further lower the cost for customers to enjoy benefits of using Vodafone’s fast and reliable data network, particularly when combined with the company’s low-cost data plans.
Features of Smart first 6 include a four-inch touchscreen with simple to navigate Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system with access to thousands of mobile applications through the Play store.
It has 1,400 milliampere hour in-built battery which means up to seven hours of talk time or up to 15 days on standby before a recharge is needed.
Dropbox, the world’s leading file sync and share service, is preloaded onto Smart first 6 and adds extra storage to the build in 4 Gigabytes (GB) memory (1.9 GB available for customer data storage).
