Baghdad---The Islamic State group said on Sunday it has taken full control of the Iraqi city of Ramadi after a bloody assault, in a statement posted on jihadist Internet forums.
"God has enabled the soldiers of the caliphate to cleanse all of Ramadi," read the statement that came after Iraqi officials said the jihadists had seized Ramadi's provincial operations command centre.
