Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour (MoL), represented by its Department of Qualifying and Skills Development, took part in the career fair hosted by Hassan Bin Thabet Secondary School for Boys.
The event was convened to acquaint students with a broad spectrum of academic disciplines, university courses, and training programmes, thereby assisting them in determining and selecting their future academic trajectories.
This participation is part of the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to bridging the gap between education and the demands of the labour market.
It aligns with the Third National Development Strategy (2024–2030), which seeks to cultivate a competitive and highly productive national workforce for the private sector.
During the fair, representatives from the Department of Qualifying and Skills Development provided detailed briefings on promising academic specialisations, as well as the Ministry’s various initiatives and programmes, including professional readiness, summer training, and vocational qualification.
These efforts are designed to equip students with the requisite skills and knowledge to successfully navigate and enter the future labour market.
