Doha: The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Public Parks Department, in cooperation with the Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation (ALF), has completed the second phase of ‘Farm Your Country’ programme of 2023.
As many as 36 schools are participating in the programme, with 10 students from each school, in various educational stages, competing for the (gold, silver, and bronze) awards, said the Ministry of Municipality in a statement.
This is after the previous seasons achieved distinguished results. The programme aims to implement plans in the field of agricultural awareness, in order to achieve the desired goals that fall within the framework of achieving food security and Qatar National Vision 2030.
The programme educates students on how to preserve natural resources, biological diversity and environmental balance.
